Since 2006, the Digby Area Tourism Association (DATA) has been working to bring local businesses and government together to promote and develop the area as a tourism destination.
DATA has partnered with local videographers and Tourism NS to acquire inspiring content photos and video used to market the area locally and around the world.
Our mission is to facilitate and promote authentic and memorable experiences for visitors to the Digby Area.

An association is only as strong as its membership. The Digby Area Tourism Association (DATA) is a collective of like minded business owners dedicated to promoting regional tourism through out the Digby Area.
Member benefits include voting rights at our annual general meeting, a website listing, exclusive online access, and enhanced business visibility through our marketing partnerships with local and provincial tourism sites.
Our volunteer Board of Directors meets monthly to strategize on attracting more visitors to our region, underscoring the charm and appeal of Digby through innovative marketing approaches.
Through united efforts, we aim to amplify Digby’s presence on the tourism map, making a significant contribution to our local tourism ecosystem.
Your annual fee allows us to keep our website up to date, produce quality videos, create regular social media content, connect with travelling influencers and more! As members partner together, we put the Digby area on the map!
We can only do this if we work together. We create our visitor guide annually, filled with information about the area, maps and ads for our members.
The visitor guide is an excellent resource to get your business out there and increase your customer base.
