Sociable Knit-Along Weekend with Yarn Guru, Shirley Anne Scott Guiding a Project from her New Book Big Splash Knits from Atlantic Canada
November 1-2, 2024, join Shirl the Purl for a weekend of shared love of knitting, delicious food and treats as you work with author and fiber-artist extraordinaire, Shirley Anne Scott and help launch her new book Big Splash Knits from Atlantic Canada, due on bookshelves in September. The project: new Landfall Cable Wristers pattern using Softspun yarn specially- dyed for the weekend by Briggs & Little. The event includes a personal hand massage, a pop-up “knitting market” from Gaspereau Valley Fibres, stories and great company. Of course, Shirley will personally sign all books!
The Landfall Cable Writers project is suitable for all levels of knitting expertise. Shirley will offer her expertise and special humor to help with all your knitting questions and ideas. All this complete with delicious meals, walks around the property and opportunities to enjoy resort experiences.
The Sociable Knit-Along is part of a Fibre Arts Weekend at the Pines, with a major quilting workshop complete with quilting marketplace underway in Digby Hall.

NOTE: The project is worked flat and seamed; please bring a pair of 4mm needles and a cable needle.
