Digby Area Tourism is hiring two Social Media Community Managers
17.00 hourly / 35 hours per week for the months of July and August.

To apply for this job, you must:
- Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.
Social Media Manager:
We are looking for someone interested in learning how to be a social media manager or is interested in the tourism industry. You will work with a team that will create social media posts for the Digby Area Tourism Association.
Tasks will include researching local attractions and writing social media posts about them. Coming up with ideas to attract people to the Digby Area. Taking photos, videos, and writing social media posts and other related tasks as required.
Job requirements: Languages: English
On the road job: A mix of work from home and in the Digby area.
Experience: No experience necessary. Experience an asset.
Specific Skills: Excellent writing skills. Knowledge of social media. Story telling. Marketing. Editing. Teamwork skills. Communication skills.
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Access to a phone/computer. Access to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Docs.
Transportation/Travel Information: Need a way to get around the Digby area.
