You’re invited to the Digby 135 Community Picnic to celebrate Digby’s incredible journey from 1890 to 2025.
Here’s everything you need to know:
What: Digby 135 Community Picnic
When: Saturday, June 21st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: Fisherman’s Memorial Park, Digby
Rain plan: In case of bad weather, the celebration will move to the Digby Curling Club.
Schedule of Events & Activities:
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Paint Like MaudCome out and join local artist, Tiffany Barrett and paint your own Maud Lewis inspired mini painting to take home with you!
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Live Music ExtravaganzaEnjoy an afternoon of fantastic music featuring The Amigos.
Plus, a very special appearance by Andy Lagomarsino (from the legendary band The Surfaris!)
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM | Council BBQGrab a bite to eat at the community barbecue hosted by the Digby Town Council.
2:30 PM | Official Ceremony & Cake Cutting
Join in for the Official Proclamation Ceremony to honour Digby’s 135th anniversary, followed by a celebratory piece of cake!
